Program

The ASV 2016 program will include scientific symposia, special event workshops, workshop sessions, poster sessions, lunch discussion tables and special educational presentations. Collegial mixers and social events will punctuate the program. The meeting will begin Saturday, June 18th at 3:30 pm with the Welcome Reception, to be followed by the keynote address at 5:30 pm. The first group of simultaneous workshop sessions, consisting of individual oral presentations, will begin at 7:00 pm that evening.

The Plenary Symposia will take place during the mornings of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Individual workshop sessions are scheduled for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons, as well as Sunday and Monday evenings. State-of-the-Art Lectures (30 minutes each) will be presented during various workshops. Two poster sessions will be held with scheduled discussion sessions on Sunday and Monday afternoons, respectively, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be two short talks by the ASV 2016 Ann Palmenberg Junior Investigator Awardees during the Sunday plenary session.
