Welcome to the 35th Annual Meeting for the American Society for Virology, North America’s premier virology conference. Don’t miss this opportunity to exchange information, engage in stimulating discussions and collaborate with fellow virologists from around the world.
The 2016 conference is scheduled to be held June 18-22 on the beautiful Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. This area is noted for its natural beauty, healthful atmosphere and outdoor recreational opportunities.
The ASV 2016 program will include symposia, workshops, poster sessions, and special events on a wide range of topics in virology. We hope you can join us.
We will be adding more information in the coming months, so please check this website soon for complete information about the meeting.
We have been made aware that our speakers, exhibitors and attendees are being contacted by Exhibitor Housing Services and other third party vendors (outside booking agencies) saying that hotel rooms are almost full in Blacksburg and that they can provide assistance with hotel reservations and travel arrangements for the American Society for Virology Conference. This statement is not true.
Neither Virginia Tech nor the American Society for Virology has contracted with any booking and/or travel agency to assist with housing and/or travel arrangements to attend this conference. DO NOT give any booking agency your credit card number, personal information, or any details about your hotel reservation because you could incur substantial credit card charges (cancellation fees, service fees, etc.).
If you are contacted by any company suggesting that they can assist, please report this to firstname.lastname@example.org immediately.
See the Program page for the Workshop Sessions Schedule.
